Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber The Next Jay-Z And Beyonce?

Forbes Magazine offers some love to power couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Justin is the cover guy for their top 100 celebrity list issue. He sits at #3 on the list as one of the most powerful stars. He was honored to be listed in it, and is one of the much younger ones listed. As for Selena, she was listed as one of today’s new celebrity entrepreneurs. She was listed for her music, acting, fashion line, investments and now her fragrance. Her $750,000 investment for Postcard on the Run was the main focus of their interview. Here is a tiny highlight from what she had to say about it.

    …I used to look through photo albums with my family, and now I don’t. There’s something really magical about holding a photo in your hands.

Justin also had a few comments to say about his social media investments as well, which includes Spotify.

    Social media helped launch my career. Without the Internet and without YouTube, I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to put my music out there and have people hear it.

It is great to see that they both are listed for their work. I would certainly call them a power couple easily and I hope they can stay on this path. It seems like they know where they are going and I have no doubt they will one day find their own social media companies. They both clearly are fans of it, like much of their generation. I just wonder how they feel about being known for that kind of investment over their music/acting?

Are you happy for the both of them? I think it is a nice for them, but I do feel like they need to be known more for their music or acting over their investments. They certainly got to the point where they can invest by their talent, not their investments. So I do pity them for that, but it is a start to be recognized by business people.

Both Justin and Selena have their own perfume among many other business ventures and we see Selena branching out into movies as well as Justin. I think if all goes well they could become the biggest power couple to ever grace the United States. Oh my with all the hype out Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby Ivy, could you even imagine how the media would react to the Bieber kids? Or maybe Gomez-Bieber kids if she keeps her name going.
